Valentine’s Evening Well Spent: Sharing Knowledge at WFNS Rhoton Anatomy Day

1–2 minutes

Hi, everyone!

On this past Valentine’s evening, I had the privilege of participating in The WFNS Rhoton Anatomy Day: Peripheral Nerve as a speaker on “Tibial Nerve Anatomy and Its Surgical Approach”

The session was truly inspiring, bringing together experts and enthusiasts to explore the complexities of peripheral nerve anatomy. My talk focused on the detailed anatomy of the tibial nerve, emphasizing key anatomical landmarks and practical surgical approaches that help improve outcomes for patients, especially the selective neurotomy to improve spasticity of the lower extremities. I also shared some surgical nuances and tips to avoid complications during dissection and repair.

This event was a perfect blend of education and collaboration. It’s always exciting to connect with colleagues worldwide, exchanging ideas and experiences that push the boundaries of what we know.

For those who missed the session, you’re welcome to explore the highlights and further insights on this Youtube link. Feel free to reach out with questions or share your thoughts—I’m always happy to discuss nerve anatomy and surgical techniques!

Thank you to the WFNS and the organizers, especially Dr. Mariano Socolovsky, for creating such a valuable learning experience. Looking forward to the next one!
